Development of a Small Enterprise Resource Planning System

This study developed a small enterprise resource planning system that integrates purchasing, stock, invoicing, and simple accounting modules with role-based access. The system produces basic financial and operational reports. Adopting a client-server architecture and a survey-based usability evaluation, the system was built using Python, Django, and PostgreSQL. The findings showed that the system reduced manual record keeping and improved operational oversight, while achieving a high System Usability Scale score. The study recommends phased rollout for growing SMEs.
