Development of an Online Service Portal for Local Government Offices

This study developed an online service portal for local government offices that lets citizens apply for certificates, track applications, and receive notices digitally. The portal reduces queue times and documents service turnaround. Adopting a client-server architecture and a survey-based usability evaluation, the system was built using Python, Django, and SQLite. The findings showed that the portal improved service speed and transparency, while achieving a high System Usability Scale score. The study recommends phased rollout across local government departments.
