Development of a Software Requirements Elicitation and Prototyping Tool

This study developed a software requirements elicitation and prototyping tool that supports interviews, questionnaires, and rapid wireframe prototyping within one workspace. The tool records requirements as they emerge and links them to prototype screens. Adopting a client-server architecture and a survey-based usability evaluation, the system was built using Python, Flask, and SQLite. The findings showed that the tool accelerated understanding and reduced requirement ambiguity, while achieving a high System Usability Scale score. The study recommends use in requirements phase workshops.
