Development of a Test Case Management and Bug Tracking System

This study developed a test case management and bug tracking system that organises test suites, records execution results, and manages defect lifecycle from discovery to closure. The system links bugs to requirements and releases. Adopting a client-server architecture and a survey-based usability evaluation, the system was built using Python, Flask, and SQLite. The findings showed that the system improved test traceability and defect resolution, while achieving a high System Usability Scale score. The study recommends deployment in QA teams.
