Development of a Web-Based Automated Test Result Aggregation and Reporting Platform
Software Engineering — 2025, Undergraduate
This study developed a web-based automated test result aggregation and reporting platform that collects test run outputs, highlights failures, and tracks regression trends across builds. The platform sends alerts on critical failures and exports summaries. Adopting a client-server architecture and a survey-based usability evaluation, the system was built using Node.js, Express, and MongoDB. The findings showed that the platform reduced triage time and improved release confidence, while achieving a high System Usability Scale score. The study recommends integration with build pipelines.
