Development of a Web-Based Release and Version Management Platform

This study developed a web-based release and version management platform that plans release trains, tracks versioned deliverables, documents changelogs, and records rollback plans. The platform provides a release calendar and gate checks. Adopting a client-server architecture and a survey-based usability evaluation, the system was built using Node.js, Express, and MongoDB. The findings showed that the platform improved release coordination and reduced version confusion, while achieving a high System Usability Scale score. The study recommends deployment in product teams.
