Development of an IT Infrastructure Asset and Monitoring System

This study developed an IT infrastructure asset and monitoring system that registers servers, switches, and endpoints, tracks warranties and maintenance, and displays uptime summaries. The system alerts administrators to expiring contracts and offline assets. Adopting a client-server architecture and a survey-based usability evaluation, the system was built using Python, Django, and SQLite. The findings showed that the system improved asset visibility and maintenance planning, while achieving a high System Usability Scale score. The study recommends deployment in institutional ICT units.
