Development of an Online Document Management and Repository System

This study developed an online document management and repository system that organises files into folders, supports versioning and full-text search, and controls access by role. The system logs access and change history. Adopting a client-server architecture and a survey-based usability evaluation, the system was built using Python, Django, and SQLite. The findings showed that the system improved file retrieval and reduced document loss, while achieving a high System Usability Scale score. The study recommends deployment in administrative offices.
